“A Downtown destination with a cosmopolitan feel.”

The Pullman House

… is a luxury, group-travel destination in the small, bourgeoning beach town of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The Pullman sets itself apart from the typical beach house rentals.

Get away to your own private townhouse in the heart of the historic downtown entertainment district. Overlooking Marshal Park, each house provides every amenity. The new construction features 12 ft. ceilings and exquisite interior design.

For special events or family gatherings, there is no comparison. Walk one block to shops and restaurants or stroll 15 minutes to the beach. Our partners provide experiences from bicycle and golf cart delivery, to private island and fishing excursions.

The Pullman is a family-owned and operated guest house offering self check-in.

Overlooking Marshal Park, the city’s ‘town green’, it borrows its historic architectural influence from the adjacent historic L&N train station..

The families of Jonathan Cothern and Kent Ozborn go back generations in central Mississippi. Both spent their childhoods visiting the Gulf Coast on family vacations. Both are now design professionals.

The Pullman idea was born on a barstool in New Orleans. It didn’t take long for them to realize that this laidback small-town venture could complement their busy lives in the city.

With their extended families now living in Ocean Springs, it would be a family business - a homecoming of sorts. Stay here and Betty will make your reservation, and Amanda will help plan your event.

The facility is designed to accommodate friends and families of almost any size. The homes are large enough to offer quality time together or to have separate indoor and outdoor areas to get away. Pets are welcome and can frolic in Marshal park across the street.

Rent the park gazebo under the oaks for your event or wedding and have your reception in the Pullman breezeway or pool terrace. Ask how to buyout all or part of the facility.

The idea of Victorian travel inspired the interior design of each unique home. The old Pullman cars provided luxury travel with all the amenities of home and deposited its weary travelers at the doorstep where the new Pullman now stands.

From the Pullman’s front porches and through the same old oak trees, you can still watch the train pass and hear its whistle blow.
